Students from four different houses actively participated in the cultural programs. Totally 16 events were organized.

1. Quiz Areas — Questions from the following domains:

  • General Knowledge
  • Aptitude (logical reasoning, basic mathematics)
  • Sports
  • Nursing (fundamentals, medical-surgical, community health, OBG, Paediatrics and psychiatry)

2. Format of the Quiz:

  • The competition will consist of multiple rounds: Preliminary Round (MCQs), Rapid Fire Round, Buzzer Round, Final Round
  • The number of rounds may vary depending on the number of teams

3. Time Limit:

  • Each question must be answered within 10–30 seconds, as per the round
  • No response within the given time will be considered incorrect

4. Scoring System:

  • Correct answer: +1 or +2 marks
  • ✗ No negative marking (unless specified by organizers)
  • Bonus questions may carry additional marks

5. Rules for Teams:

  • Discussion among team members is allowed only during the allotted time
  • Only the team leader is permitted to answer (unless stated otherwise)
  • Answers once given cannot be changed

6. Use of Electronic Aids:

  • ✗ Use of mobile phones, smart watches, calculators, notes, or books is strictly prohibited
  • Any violation will lead to immediate disqualification

7. Tie-Breaker:

  • In case of a tie, a tie-breaker round will be conducted

1. Format — Words will be medical terminology related to:

  • Anatomy & Physiology
  • Nursing (fundamentals, medical-surgical, community health, OBG, Paediatrics and psychiatry)
  • Pharmacology, Pathology, Microbiology
  • Words will be pronounced clearly by the quiz master
  • Meaning, origin, or sentence may be provided on request (once only)

2. Rounds:

  • Preliminary Round – Easy to moderate level words
  • Semi-Final Round – Moderate to difficult words
  • Final Round – Advanced medical terms
  • (Rounds may vary based on number of participants)

3. Spelling Rules:

  • Participants must spell the word orally, letter by letter
  • Pronunciation must be clear and audible
  • Once spelling begins, no changes are allowed
  • Asking for repetition is allowed once per word

4. Time Limit:

  • Each participant will be given 10–15 seconds per word
  • Failure to answer within the time limit = incorrect

5. Elimination:

  • One incorrect spelling may lead to elimination (sudden-death format), OR
  • Participants may be given 2 chances in preliminary rounds (organizer's choice)

6. Scoring:

  • Correct spelling = 1 point

Rules & Regulations of the Competition

General Instructions

  1. Material for various events should be brought by the individual.
  2. Only 2 entries per house will be allowed to participate.
  3. Participants have to confirm their names.
  4. Each participant will be verified before every event.
  5. Exceeding the allotted time will invite disqualification.
  6. Disobeying the rules and regulations of the competition will disqualify the candidates for the events.
  7. Winner's points — First Prize: 5 points, Second Prize: 3 points, Third Prize: 1 point. The Overall Champion of 2026 will be calculated based on points.
  8. Organizers are not responsible for overlapping of names for events.
  9. Participants have to confirm their names.
  10. No act shall contain any offensive, obscene, or disrespectful action or gestures. The act will be immediately stopped and the entry will be disqualified if these instructions are not followed.
  11. Judge's decision will be final.
