Event Report
College of Nursing, East Coast Institute of Medical Sciences, organized the Annual Sports Events for the Academic Year 2025–26 from 05.02.2026 to 03.03.2026.
The events such as Volleyball, Throwball, Badminton (singles and doubles) and indoor games such as Chess and Carrom for boys and girls were conducted as per schedule before the Sports Meet.
The Sports Meet was organized on 21.02.2026. The meet started at 9:00 AM with a grand torch lighting ceremony by the Chief Guest Dr. Sathyaveni Murugesan, Vice-Chairman, East Coast Hospitals. A carefully selected group of student athletes proudly carried the torch around the ground in a relay, showcasing their determination and dedication.
The outdoor events such as Running (100 meters, 200 meters), Relay, Shot Put, Disc Throw and Long Jump for boys and girls were conducted. Students from four houses actively participated in all sports events.
The Sports Meet ended at 2:30 PM. The prizes and Overall Champion Trophy will be awarded to the students on College Annual Day Celebrations.
